1

Reference Metadata

In any business the need is to have everyone working from the same set of information is a business fundamental that all too often is ignored, resulting in major costs in manual workarounds and probitative costs in trying to fix it. With a Managed Reference Metadata Service (complete with a built in comprehensive, externally validated Master Taxonomy set), a business can consolidate its existing data sets into a master record, cross referenced with most of the market required identifiers, as well as a single internal identifer - from which a comprehensive Operational Data Quality Service can be implemented that delivers tangible value from Day1.

2

Information Framework

Combining multiple externally verified business taxonomies into a pre-built relational business entity data model, an Information Framework provides a single business view of a firms data and the governance framework to manage, remediate the firms data quality as a business as usual function while deriving value for the data during the process. No need to for lengthy re-engineering projects. By deploying an Information Framework above the existing systems and infrastructures, complete with a built in Reference Metadata Universe, a firm can fastpath to a Single Business View in a matter of months.

3

Entity Master Data Models

Beyond the enterprise, many types of Entity (such as a company or a person) exist and evolve over time. Our Information Frameworks have a pre-defined Entity Model that captures and updates information about the external information that defines those Entity types recognised by the Information Framework. Each Entity type has a comprehensive reference data model that defines it and which provides a basis for each internal definition of the same Entity to be matched to it and the differences from the external definitions identified and resolved as a business process.

4

Entity Analytics

Behaviour based profiling of the interaction between entities over time and the variation against how they'd behaved previously is a very powerful way to track performance and impact on your business. The ability to profiling against targets or variance provides actionable insights that go “beyond” traditional business intelligence and analytics and enables a firm to gain both granular level understanding of 'cause and effect' whilst being able to focus (through exception based alerts) on those events that have significant business impact as they are happening.
